Understanding Emotional Wellbeing in Infertility
Understanding Emotional Wellbeing in Infertility
Infertility can be very hard. It often brings feelings like sadness, stress, and loneliness that affect your everyday life.
The INSPIRE Study is designed to explore whether guided, structured writing activities can help people reflect on their infertility journey to reduce trauma, grief, and stress, while improving quality of life.

What Is the INSPIRE Study?
What Is the INSPIRE Study?
INSPIRE stands for Infertility Narrative Self-Reflection: Processing, Integrating, and Rewriting Emotions.
This Harvard researchers-led study looks at how writing about your experiences might support emotional wellbeing during infertility, particularly among females who have been trying to conceive for two years or more without success.
Writing has been shown to help people explore difficult experiences. In this study, eligible females will take part in guided writing exercises designed to help you reflect on your journey with infertility.
Please remember, this is a research study, NOT therapy. While some participants find the process helpful and may find some emotional benefits, the main goal is to better understand emotional wellbeing in infertility.
